All our baked goods contain eggs, dairy, gluten and milk, and may contain soya, sesame and nuts. are made in an environment which uses all allergens. We do have recipes to make cakes vegan, but please bear in mind there is no guarantee of no cross-contamination.

All our celebration cakes consist of 4 layers of sponge. We use a crumb coat of ganache (a mixture of cream and chocolate) as this means the cake can withstand warmer temperatures and be on display for periods of time. We do not use fondant or sugar flowers on our cakes.
Our cake sizes are 6 inch or 8 inch. A 6 inch cake will provide roughly 20-24 servings. An 8 inch cake will provide roughly 40-42 servings, A serving is based on finger portions which are 1”x2”x half the height of the cake which will be approximately 6-7” deep as standard. You could also have bigger slices by using dessert portions which are 1”x2”x full height of the cake.
Our cake designs are completely bespoke to you, so contact us to discuss your ideas. If you request a cake that is not our original design, we will seek the permission of the original designer to recreate it. This cannot be guaranteed. If you wish to have us recreate someone else’s design, we would prefer not to directly copy it, but to use it as a basis to design your cake around so that it is unique to you. This can be discussed during the booking process.
When you pick up one of our celebration cakes, it is important you care for it properly to ensure the best taste and so the design remains as it should. Please read the below information on how to care for your cake.
Celebration Cakes
Store in the fridge after collection. Take out 1-2 hours before serving. Once cut, keep in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Brownies
Your brownies will taste best when eaten within 3-5 days of delivery Once delivered, keep your brownies in an airtight container to keep them fresh for up to 5 days. If you want to keep them for longer, your brownies can be frozen in a sealed container for up to 3 months.
Cupcakes
Cupcakes will taste their best when eaten within 1-2 days of delivery. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
At The Wild Flour Bakery, we take great care in adorning our baked goods with flowers.
For our edible flower brownies, we exclusively source certified organic and edible flowers from trusted suppliers. This way you can enjoy the taste and sight of beautiful edible flowers without any compromise of safety.
For our celebration cakes and cupcakes, we use flowers that are either edible or safe for contact, ensuing your safety. While these flowers are technically edible, when used as decorations we advise against consuming.
We only use flowers from our trusted suppliers. This is to ensure we know the whole journey of the flowers so we can safely apply them to the cake, If you wish to use your own flowers or florist, please discuss this with us during the booking process.
